Another way that many women use yogurt is to rub it on the effected area externally. You may make a little bit of a sticky mess. but many women have a lot of success with this method. I personally would use some thing like a tampon and dip it in the yogurt and apply it that way. I’ve also met some women who actually throw yogurt in the freezer then use the frozen yogurt as a suppository.
Another thing you can do in addition to using yogurt is to go to a health food store and pick up a good quality bottle of probiotic capsules. You can typically pick these up for about 5 bucks for a bottle of 60 or so. Whenever you use or consume yogurt break open the capsules and mix them into your yogurt. This is a great double whammy to help fight your bacterial vaginosis. In addition to mixing the probiotics with yogurt you should take them 2-3 times a day.
While you are changing your diet. try to cut out all the yeast and sugar you consume. Try to avoid processed foods and eat more green leafy vegetables. This helps you boost your immune system. which can help you to cure your bacterial vaginosis quicker.
