A man cannot be tested for the four types of vaginitis (bacterial, yeast, atrophic, and trichomoniasis). "cervicitis" can actually mean several different things. MPC (mucopurulent cervicitis) is a blanket term for undiagnosed STDs like gonorrhea and/or chlamydia. These can be tested in a man. You can also just have cervicitis from other general things not associated with STDs.
Yes the virus is called gardenella, and all it is, is a yeast infection. So you can’t get vaginitis but you can get a yeast infection in your penis.
Yes and no. It is possible that an STD can be transmitted from a male to a female with no symptoms in the male. However, it is also possible that there was simply an infection in the female. Anyone with these conditions should get checked out by a doctor immediately, to make sure that it is indeed not an STD.
